Sandy Neck Lighthouse sits at the tip of (you guessed it) Sandy Neck in Barnstable, Massachusetts. It’s a difficult lighthouse to photograph - the cluster of cottages and the lighthouse are at the end of almost five miles of sand dunes and are all private. You can see it from a boat but it’s tough to take longer exposure photographs from a rocking boat. There are a few spots along the northern shore of Cape Cod where you can see the lighthouse across the water and with a telephoto lens capture sunset on the cottages and lighthouse itself.
I'll print this photograph onto a 4x9 notecard and sign the card to make a striking panorama notecard. Matte linen textured paper surface adds an elegant finish while preserving details. Each card includes a white envelope.
