On a trip to southeast Utah in 2017, my brother and I woke up in the pre-sunrise dark at a campground in Bryce Canyon National Park. We made the short drive to the rim of the campground and walked down the rim path to Inspiration Point. The canyon falling away before us gradually brightened as the run rose to the east and we watched a brilliant sunrise over the orange canyon walls and hoodoos of Bryce Canyon National Park.
